My kids both have cut their feet this summer on exposed screws. Its a danger to the town and patrons. Its another loss of toe injury like the new playground waiting to happen.

The Town of Bourne needs to address the conditions of the dock to prevent injuries. My daughters foot fell through the finger on my slip earlier this year which was immediately brought to the attention of the staff. Since then there are still several soft spots and exposed screws in numerous locations. The parched work plywood are mostly elevated causing tripping hazards.

We need to have the town address the issue of the poor condition of the docks/fingers at Monument Beach before someone is seriously injured.

Its a great marina and the docks should be up to that standard as well.

My slip has had a panel replace this summer and now have a patch on top of the walk way which is a tripping hazard come on lets face it the docks are at the end of there life span

YES IT IS VERY TREACHEROUS FOR SURE....LOTS OF ROT AND FLOORING LIFTING UP

It would be nice to have an updated system . Barlows Landing is beautiful. Monument Beach could be as well

This situation needs to be addressed , it gets worse and worse every year and the MBM crew cannot keep up, try as they may. We need a permanent solution such as the brand new docks that were added at Barlows Landing this summer. Perhaps charging a fee for the use of the Monument Beach ramp might be a solution to help defray the cost of a new docking system?

We have been on a slip for 16 years and continue to have problems every single summer with people slipping and getting injured due to the rotting docks. It’s time to remedy this for good.
