We, the devoted viewers of Days of our Lives are asking that The Powers That Be (Ken Corday, Greg Meng, Sony, NBC) remove the current writing team and install a writing team that will treat the show, characters, storylines, history, and most importantly the fans the respect they deserve.

We have endured far too much of the continuous "Character Assassinations" over the last few years. Lately the writers have been one trick ponies with a continuous theme of blackmail.

We deserve a writing team that can drive the story, the characters, and build to the drama and romance. We deserve a team that will want us asking for more because the story is so well constructed, instead of scratching our heads trying to figure out if we missed something.

We want a new writing team (not another recycled failed team). If you delve into the past for the new team, skip the last decade and go straight to the mid 80s to early 90s. We want a new writing team, and the show and its devoted fans deserve it.
