We are trying to add a new crosswalk on Cerritos Ave. between Euclid St. and Nutwood Ave., due to the large amount of students that walk to and from school in this area. The lack of crosswalks in this area influences students to jaywalk, which in turn puts our students at risk of traffic accidents, so adding another crosswalk would help improve street safety for our students and cut down on the amount of jaywalking that takes place.
