Yes, favoritism is a problem. I know some really great young guys that are part of the current team, and they are talented. It's too bad that their talent hasn't even been given a chance to help out in the game time situations this year. Nothing against any of the players, but some things are not working out on the field, and the coaches still don't give some other players a chance. All they do is shift around the players that are already getting to play instead of utilizing some of the non-starters that work hard and wait around for their chance or their time, only to be passed over. Some kids go to every practice (regular season, Spring, and Summer), go to weight room during season and off season, and do everything possible to make themselves better (on and off the field) and they don't get a chance, and then, I've seen some kids miss practices, rarely go to weight room, don't show up during Summer, don't do camps or outside training and they show up and get a starting position or at least a lot of playing time as a non-starter. And as far as the kicking situation, they really should work on developing a kicker from Freshman year on to Varsity. I've seen many jokes and statements about our kicker/punter, and it really isn't fair to the kicker. Although from my understanding, the previous kicker didn't even practice all week. I'm not a coach, but if I were, then it would be mandatory that the kicker/punter practice. I don't know what to say, but a lot of it is coaching. We have way too much talent for it to be wasted. I do have to say another thing and that pertains to grades. I just don't understand why we have so many guys failing. I know it isn't just a coaches responsibility to make sure his players are passing. Parents and the students need to be responsible on this front. I've seen it too many times with the Freshman, JV and Varsity.....they have to combine for one team and having Varsity lose so many because they fail. And maybe the coaches

I feel favoritism was a big factor, they had me playing olb until my first varsity year , then out of no where they changed me to fullback where I recieve no pt, then 2nd year on varsity I got moved back to olb ??? Which I hadn't played for a year cause of them? honestly I don't see them caring about player development about much player development , I started my freshman year olb, then sophomore on jv started at olb, then junior year on varsity the moved me, we had way to much talent in general that wasn't given a chance, and that was show with are record

As an alumn who lost almost all the homecomings I attended, I agree.
