The Nextdoor poll I published yesterday about a new bus route down St. Mary's to and from BART generated a lot of positive interest! Thank you! County Connection has advised that supporters of the new route sign and submit a petition to further demonstrate interest. I've created an online petition, which I'd appreciate you signing. Next week, I will send the petition over. I'm hoping a new bus route is soon to come. Thank you again!

I have been reading your stories about how much time you lose commuting to BART each day and it confirms exactly why we need this change. I am printing out our current list to prepare for my meeting with the transit agency.

Seeing this kind of momentum confirms that I am far from the only one struggling with our current commute options. This energy tells our transit officials exactly how much our neighborhood relies on this connection.

My wife and I would take this bus often, which would free up another parking space at the BART parking lot!
My teenage daughter would use the bus line to get to Bart numerous times a week to go to her job in Berkeley
We have two daily BART commuters at our house, and would really appreciate the option of riding a bus from to the BART station.
We NEED this both for St. Mary's students, Visitors but also young and older residents that may not have a car or do not drive. This is an excellent idea.
A regular reliable service would allow my in laws, who are seniors and do not drive, easy access to Bart and downtown
WE NEED IT. I would take it everyday. I need to go to the Bart station at 9am or 1pm. My only solution is a taxi!
I would love more buses from Lafayette BART to various stops in Lafayette, especially St Mary's Road and Rohrer.

BART parking lot is frequently full between 7:30-8:00, and I would be able to take BART to work on days I need to drop off my children at school after the lot is full.
