My daughter is currently in year 3 of the nursing program in Moncton. She will NOT benefit one bit from this "free" education and neither will we!! Bring back the tuition tax credit!! Would be really nice to catch a break on something...........as middle class folks, we never seem to catch a break on anything - something has got to give!!

I went back to school because with the tution rebate it would be affordable. Now that I have finished courses I cannot claim my tution on taxes. Enough is enough :(

We have a daughter living out on her own trying to work hard to pay her way through University at two jobs. That tuition tax credit did help. Please bring it back.

The Giv may as well just hit me with a 10K tax increase as I have 2 kids in post secondary & make just over the 60k amount... This is wrong in so many levels

Students who are not eligible for the free tuition need the tuition tax cut.

Let's not allow this generation of impoverished students provide free education for the next. Recently graduated students should not pick up the tab for Gallant's lofty ideas.

Its wrong.. I have 2 Kids in University...So i pay higher taxes so Others get free university??? I know personally a family with an income of 61 000$ and 3 kids in University.. they have to pay.. yet a family with an income of under 60 000 and 1 child gets free??? University shouldnt be free.. Have a graduated system.. where your income dictates a % of break a family gets...

There has got to be a better solution. Those of us working middle class people cannot carry all the burden.

This is so unfair to hard working families who make sacrifices to pay for their children's education. Keep the tax credit. We are choosing to pay for our own children's education and I don't regret that. But don't make us pay for everyone else's now too by giving away our tax credit.

this is unfair to take away the tax credit I do believe every one should have the access to education but not at the expensive of others

This is appalling! Free tuition for families under 60k a year and now end the tuition tax credit? It's no wonder the middle class is disappearing.

My family doesn't pay for my education, but because they make "too much" I won't be helped. The tax credit is the only thing that will help me pay down my debt in a timely matter and move on with my life. If the tax credit is taken away I'm afraid all I will know is debt and I don't think I'll ever have a chance to get out of it. Many students need that tax credit and it's not fair to take that away from them.

Having 2 children who attend university and will not qualify for "free tuition". It is unacceptable that you will now take away their tuition tax credit. Being the middle class we are the losers here.

Soon there are going to be to classes the rich and the poor. The middle class can't keep up if you continue to remove the supports that help them like the tuition tax credit. This gives money back so they can continue with their education.
