New Bank ATM Center seeking to move into Lexington Center

This is a bank use.

Please limit banks in the center. It takes away from the vibrancy of the center and from building community.

Lexington doesn’t need anymore banks in the center. We need a vital center with a variety of retail and restaurant offerings.

The Center is becoming less of a destination with every bank and realtor that opens.

Grew up in Lexington and used to enjoy shopping/strolling through the center. Now...i simply drive through... Need more businesses that attract people to come and stay awhile. Banks do not.

Surely we can be a bit more creative, and as a community financially support a useful business in this spot. This is a prominent location that should engage residents and visitors. #painfree

Very opposed to any more banking related uses in the Center. We need active retail that will draw people to the Center.

There are enough ATM's downtown. This is a key location and it should be occupied by a business that will attract both residents and visitors to the area.

I have just moved from Lexington after 24 years, but am very active in the town arts. I have rarely felt that Lexington was a town with the will/vision toward whatever it takes to developing support commercial vibrancy and diversity. There has always been a wall of rental costliness and what feels like an exhaustive gauntlet to maintain some sort of historical propriety, that adds up to decades of failure for so many aspiring businesses to take root here -- so we have a small sprinkle of independent businesses amid a desert of banks, hair and nail salons, realtors, and chain businesses. Encourage some independent, interesting business in this space -- find the will to support and encourage them, or we default to banks, beauty, and real estate. Laurel Smith
