An affordable entry level program into the world of architecture would be a fantastic idea. I was fortunate enough to attend a State University of New York in Delhi, NY. They offered a two and four year program at a reasonable cost. Christopher Lobas taught there at the time and helped educate, challenge and guide me along the way. I would hope that other young students would be able to receive the same opportunity.

Having an architectural program at Tri-C is essential to providing a means to expand the pipeline and build a more diverse and inclusive architectural profession. I am fully supportive and committed to the development of such a program.

I am asking to start 2 years of Architectural drafting program . Also special education classes for professionals like Revit program

I am a recent former Adjunct Faculty at Tri-C Metro's campus, an Associate Principal with Cleveland's oldest and largest architecture firm - Westlake Reed Leskosky, and the founding director of WRL's Innovative Technology Design Group I fully support this program and find that it would provide both opportunity for skills training in a high market value field as well as a launching point for further study at a 4-year institution both of which are part of Tri-C's mission.

Although there is a need for future students to learn, and be proficient in CADD (computer assisted drafting and design), no person can truly understand what they are doing on the computer without having the experience of constructing design documents from a well developed program that has the participation of, and expresses the desires of the Owner/Client. Hand drafting and field knowledge, as well a a foundation in architectural principles, research into new technologies, and judgement is essential. Such skills could be developed at Tri-C. I commend Mr. Lobos for his initiative in proposing such a program.

I am in practice as both an Architect and Building Official. Based on what I have seen in the architectural profession and in the documents submitted at all levels for permit plan review, there is a definite need for this type of educational program.

This is an excellent opportunity for developing a marketable skill for those who cannot attend college. I highly encourage Tri C to pursue.

Anything that advances and educates people about this profession is important. I'm all for architectural studies in our local college, Tri-C.

I am vimitted to the Architectural Technologies and drafting program that Tric-C should offer.
I attended classes at Tri-C in the early 1980's received a base education, along with hands on teaching by old school Architects, today in 2016 I will use the current Autocad Technologies to make a living, support my family and enjoy a high quality of life.
I am all in left me know when I can come help!!!
