Hello Coppell!!!!!!!
I cannot express how much having our Freshman's Center carry Mrs. Springer's name feels appropriate. Even if your children didn't attend CMSE or have not been her students @ Coppell HS before that time, I am sure you have heard about Mrs. Springer and legacy she leaves behind. How does another principal ever fit her shoes tomorrow?! Hence she can never retire...
If there is one person that is in our school district and has touched so many lives - both children's' and their families that is Laura Springer.
I have not met one individual that has made a mark in our district and has done so consistently for sooo many years....
1000 students in her always overcrowded campus and she knows everyone's by their first name ( hasn't shared her secret with me yet), and their pet's name (believe me). Her hugs have healing properties and there is no kid that doesn't feel loved by her and/or her carefully chosen and nurtured team of teachers. She serves by example in every way, humble and kind! I am convinced some kids get in trouble just to have "guaranteed" lunch next to her.
I can go on and on.... Please help me spread the word and support this very important petition I feel so strongly about.

The district is ignoring the obvious choice but we are about to hit one hundred signatures to prove them wrong. Post this link on your social media right now because we need to show the board that we are not going to be silent about this name.

CHS Graduate 2004. Ms Springer means the world to me and so many others. This would be such an appropriate name for the new campus. Springer changes lives and loves everyone, she made us better people.
I don’t even live in Coppell anymore, but Ms.Springer impacted my life in the most positive way possible and is still my single favorite person in any school system I’ve been a part of. I can genuinely say I love her and would, on any given day, sign this petition. This needs to happen!
Mrs. Springer was a regular at Starbucks when I worked there years ago. She is the kindest lady and knew everyone that walked in the door, kids, parents, staff. She is amazing!
She is the definition of a teacher that makes a difference in your life and cares about you like her own child. She made such an impact in my life. What's better than her hugs? She can piece your life together with a hug. Coppell has been blessed with Laura Springer and she a million times deserves this.
This woman has spent decades serving our district. She makes an impact on every kid, teacher, administrator, and other staff she comes in contact with. I tell stories about her, it seems, daily, and I’m 44! She was impacting my life in middle school and high school way back then, here in Coppell! That speaks volumes.
Laura Springer is the definition of an excellent leader. I, like many other students, were lucky to have someone like her care about us as much as she did for everyone of her students !
Truly a remarkable person!!

Springer was principle of East when I was there 8 years ago. I had the privilege of returning to East as my cousin is entering 6th grade this year. Springer still remembered me and my younger brother. She is incredible and deserves to have her name memorialized.
