The 2016 Reval was unecessary and needs to be rescinded!

Reval is flawed Vacant lot over 2x the size of lot on same block valued $25,000 more. Many, many inequities.

8 South Woods Lane Home built in 1927. Nothing changed since the last reval. Increased $129k over 10%. Defies logic.

Our assessment went up almost 40% from the first one done by Tyler

This new Reval raised my Assessment 15% to a Level at which my house would never sell. A huge tax increase for us..as Seniors. The "Model" used by Ryan was a mistake.

Something is very wrong with this Revaluation Why should my taxes go up 50% since last revaluation and my property go up $350K in one year

Mr Berger from the NY Times wrote an article on the Tyler revaluation. I urge you all to send him an email and urge him to do a followup and highlight the flaws and ridiculous assessed values of some of your properties. I wrote him last night. Click on his name for his profile and then scroll to the bottom: http://www.nytimes.com/2015/01/27/nyregion/even-in-affluent-towns-rising-tax-bills-mean-angst-and-appeals.html

The lack of transparency is as disturbing as is the apparent randomness of the calculations. Glad to hear people are gathering around this issue together.

The model error on this new reval is so large! Trying to match any of the assessments to sale prices is just pure fiction. A 'simpler' Ryan model that was sold by the Village is so off from reality!

Revaluations and revaluations... the processes are opaque and duplicitous...

168 Johnson Rd. Between two assessments, the building information for my home changed: Grade went up from C 100% to C+ 110%; Overall condition went up from 4 to 6. No body did any improvement since 2010. How come the grade of the home getting better by itself? By the completed flawed magic model used in this assessment?!

We are on 4 Kathy lane. the model used for assessment of 2015 is completely flawed. We can't tolerate anymore wasting our tax money on something completely nonsense.

I looked at the building grade and multiplier for every house on my street and it is all over the place. A B+ marked Good condition has 125% multiplier, yet another house is B- marked Excellent with 105% multiplier or something like that. Another B+ would be 105%. The multiplier is very inconsistent and doesn't match up to the grades. It is almost like it is random. More evidence that this needs to be thrown out!

Barbara Goodman - colonial acres An assessment was done 2 years ago By Tyler Technologies. That was a thorough assessment taking into consideration the home and the property. That was costly for Scarsdale. Why wasn't that sufficient? Why was it necessary to spend all this money and reassess our homes? The new assessment creates a 45% increase in my taxes. This is absurd.

Mine went up over 60% from the Tyler assessment, which coincidentally was near our purchase price and the mortgage company evaluation in late 2013. That is beyond extraordinary.

colonial acres my assessed value went up over 45% from when Tyler Technologies performed their assessment. which is extraordinary....how can anyone in scarsdale accept that level of increase without considering moving out of scarsdale

2016 Reval is supposed to correct the mistakes from 2014 reassessment. But it caused more mistakes on many houses, especially the smaller houses.
