Change the 13th Doctor's Actor

Absolutely hate it, ruined the show for us. I feel it's another "Look how tolerant and non gender discriminatory we are as a people" type thing. Doctor Who has always been male, this change is ridiculous. Instead of gimmick, perhaps better writing would have been a "novel" idea...

How can u have a female dr, with all the associated female emotions and ethics after peter capald says Clara is there to care so he doesn’t have to bother.

Her acting is awful. I tried watching and just can’t take her seriously.

The show already had strong female characters plus, her acting sucks.

Doctor who should be a man. And I am a woman. This ruins the show.

I decided to give it a chance, and watched the first two episodes with an open mind. It sucked. She's just not 'The Doctor'. He's always had such a 'male' energy. I'm not sexist, far from it, I strongly believe in equal rights. But picture this: Imagine if they tried (just for the sake of argument) to make a the Big Lebowski into a female character. It simply wouldn't work. 'The Dude' is just such a 'dude' it simply couldn't work as a female. There are SO MANY strong female characters on TV now, did we REALLY need this...? I say no, we did not. By the way, is she now the last of the 'Timeladies'...?

Just doesn't seem like the right fit. Maybe try a different actor or the concept could be flawed from the beginning due to the general way they introduced the character.

Jodie Whittaker sucks as a Doctor. She might be a great person and a good actor, but she is a really, really awful Doctor.

I don't like the idea of a female Doctor who.

The doctor has always been male , hence the name Timelord , timelords cant change gender.

I love strong females Lexa in the hundred all the great females in the new star wars but this is politically correct stupidity and takes away a positive non aggressive role model for boys

Don’t change the fabric of a loved tv program. The change would be an irreversible change that will be the death of the show

Females in my opinion act much differently to males, not to mention their pitch and tone of voice, which makes me feel as though she is not the real doctor.

It doesn't make sense to me how they change the gender after year's of it being male if they wanted a female Dr. Who they could've done it years ago
