Stop trying to shove GOP lite down our throats. It didn't work in 2016 and no "centrist" will win because he or she lacks policies that people actually want. They aren't credible. If you defy the popular will, there is no democracy. You will sign your own death warrant.

I will never support this man. Saddest part is, I believe the corporate owned, Democratic establishment would much rather lose with a Bloomberg instead of winning with Bernie.

In the past 30 years, wage stagnation, police militarization, profit prisons, systemic racism, healthcare costs, and education costs have all become worse problems.. or have shown no improvement. If Bloomberg buys his way into the white house, that will be a sign that America is completely and utterly lost to Oligarchy forever. He's far too powerful, and Trump has given him the blueprint of how much he can do, and what not to do. Bloomberg is a far richer, far smarter Trump, who will do horrible things, but do them with good optics and tactfully. Handing the presidency over to him is the very end, the culmination of Trump's descent. Bloomberg has hurt hundreds of thousands of Black and Brown people. Scarring them for life, some have committed suicide because of this. Innocent people.
Bloomberg is more Trump and the end of the Democratic party.

For so many reasons the prospect of a Bloomberg candidacy for President, as the standard barer of our party is unacceptable. As a union organizer and activist, I have personally knocked on more than 20,000 doors and made over 100,000 phone calls over my 30 years of working for Democratic candidates, many of whom I was less than excited about - but I did it anyway because the danger represented by the Republican challenger was motivation enough. But for more than 25 years now, the leadership has been moving the party steadily rightward on economic issues, blurring the difference between the two parties.
As a feminist and a working class Black voter, even as the party has consistently shown it’s preference to serve corporate profits over people, I’ve voted D to protect the gains of my community against racism and discrimination. However, I cannot in good faith ever vote for Mike Bloomberg to lead our party. Ever. He is a bridge too far!
If he is the nominee, this will be the first election in 30 years that not only will I not turn out to volunteer, but I will not vote for the Democratic candidate. Please hear us when we say that we’d rather burn this party to the ground and start anew than be forced to support a racist, sexist, anti-union billionaire who’s trying to buy the Presidency in order to defeat the same!
