There is a lice outbreak in our community and due to a lack of policy at the school it is spreading. We need to let the school know this is not ok and changes need to be made. I am suggesting a mandatory check of all children's hair at the school. Any children who are found to have head lice are to be sent home and not allowed to return without a dr note confirming head lice are gone. The school needs to start sending notifications if someone in your child's class was sent home due to lice. With enough signatures we can make a change and stop the spread of head lice.
