If written well, soap operas don't have to always be about evil twins and love triangles. They can tell topical stories, funny stories, and moving stories, all within the framework of one town. I truly believe if the proper time and consideration were to be given to oltl, it could easily become America's new Netflix obsession

Sadly, this show was abruptly taken off the air so that ABC can air reality shows. One bombed , the other won an Emmy so it may not go anywhere :(. This is a great soap opera that has better writing and superb actors. Give them a chance, we will support them to the end.

what these rich tv stations dont get is that soaps is a way of life for some of us, an escape to just forget about our life and get into something else even if its just for an hour or two a day. I lived and breathed one life to live and a part of me died when it ended.

OLTL had MILLIONS of fans. Most of them are still missing their beloved show. While I would like OLTL back in production with new stories, reruns of the daytime drama would be great if Netflix were to pick it up. All My Children, too!

Not that Netflix needs great ratings because it already has them, but if they were to pick up OLTL & AMC...through the roof!!
