Loved ATLA growing up and was inspired by Korra and her adventures. I always felt that Aang's story came to the perfect end, but Korra's doesn't feel over yet. And if not a continuation of her story, then maybe a series on the next earthbending avatar.

Personally, I'd be OK with Netflix picking up for another incarnation of the avatar - a new series, set in that world - which is more likely considering that the creators have stated they won't continue the Korra story outside of comics.

Both of the series were amazing, and even as an adult, clearly underlined the values and beliefs that I resonate with, and as well as this, make me feel we have lost as individuals. Therefore I have also learned much from this show. Beautiful themes and meanings throughout both shows. The slight let down is the ending of book 4, as there was no direct build up, and the expectation was that there was further build up for Asami and Korra. Furthermore, that the issues regarding Asami' s father is not portrayed as a heavy loss for a Asami, and could have been expressed a little more. It's as if it was bypassed. Even Korra's growth and complete recovery and self development after the battle could have been shown. Even Bolin and Maco were just left there, nothing explained about where they went or what was next for them. There may have been very subtle hints towards both the girls falling for one another, but that could have been drawn upon much more; heavily if possible. It seemed so disappointing, that the theme of sexuality had to be thrown in, rushing the ending, and showing no development in that relationship from an earlier on point. It's supposed to be a show that holds adventure, that teaches us. The ending didn't need to be about gender and sexuality, if it should have been, then these themes that were portrayed that end; they could have been shown from the start of the show. If anything it seemed rash from the writers, complete inability to think what could have been a proper ending, at least containing some progression towards the end. The bisexual relationship was chucked in. Really ruined the last moments. But nonetheless; the last moments, the lights and the aura left us open to what could be. Where everyone else was, I hope this could be expanded on much more. I hope this continues and we see what happened to the group, especially if we see the girls being set up, maybe having a family and or having children. Maybe with Maco, maybe someone else. It would be amazing to continue the Avatar shows. It would bring an audience from children to young adults because it has humor and drama enough for both.

This needs to happen, there's so much that hasn't been talked about or touched on.

Make either this or a story about a new avatar, either is just fine with me. I have grown up with Avatar and Korra and even though I personally did not really ship Korrasami up until the end, I still love that they decided to make a statement: queer people DO exist and their love is just as real as straight people's. <3
