For once we actually got a version of Judge Dredd that was true to the spirit of the comic books (Dredd 2012). It might not have preformed well at the box office, even though that may have had something to do with the lack of marketing. It did show it had a following through DVD sales. Dredd has the potential to thrive somewhere like netflix, it just needs a chance.

Dredd is perfect for a dark long format to series which can be inexpensive initially to try proof of concept and then broaden depending on appeal
