The L Word was really the only television show about gays, that showed lesbians as actual people with more traits than just being gay. It gave me, and many others the confidence to come out. Not to mention that it was a damn good show. And Rachel Shelley is a babe.

I started watching the L word simply for the lesbians. by season 2 i didnt care about the sex but about the story and their lives, by season 3 it was all downhill and i was yelling at the screen, and feeling like i was really being taken into a world i had never seen before.
growing upp in georgia, then moving to chicago, meeting and befriending gay people was a very new, and very hard challenge for me. i can say with confidence that this show helped change my views from a gay basher, to a friend of many lesbian, gays, bi, and transgenders.
I am rewatching the series for the 3rd time right now, and would love to see the series brought back for a true conclusion it deserves

The L Word is my FAVORITE show. It's the only show of its kind, on Netflix and otherwise... I also know that a couple of my friends were planning on getting a Netflix account based solely on the fact that The L Word was offered, but they've decided against it now that it's not. PLEASE bring the show back!!!!

1) the ending sucked- redemption!
2) There is so little lesbian representation in the media, I want my full rep show back
3) Everyone loves it, you don't have to be gay.
4) It is a great show and should come back so the world can enjoy it!
