Unfinished business. And since the cancellation of The Real L Word, there is no more strictly LESBIAN shows on premium channels!

Right off the top...while it can be funny and certainly is thought provoking ...the only fiction show showing a portrayal of a community of gay women as people is "Orange is the new black" which is set in prison. Really...that is a dismal thought. The example of a gay woman went from a free acting person with many choices and challenges to find ones self and happiness.......to a prisoner or prisoners with no other choice? The L word framed gay women in a community and I agree it opened many eyes gay and straight. Perhaps...it could have shown a few ongoing stable monogamous relationships in the setting....along with all the challenges....just for example. I realize the show needs its ups and downs to remain true and entertaining to its audience as well. I think the writers and the actresses were great. I enjoyed laughing out loud at some of the situations I have seen first hand. It would be great to have the cast back and move forward with some new episodes. We miss it!

There are no good representations of lesbians on TV right now. All I want is one show, just one good show, that I can relate to. Millions of lesbians shouldn't have to look for scraps-it's 2014.

The L Word was like my family. They helped me realize it's okay to be who I am. We need more of The L Word ASAP. It's probably the only tv show that has represented us as a community.
