The L Word was not only an amazing show, but it gave the lesbian community honest representation on TV. Most TV shows sexualize and exploit lesbian characters and The L Word is one of, if not the only show, I know of that treats lesbians with respect.

I miss the characters and the storyline. There aren't many great lesbian shows that are out there. This show paved the way but nothing can quite yet compare.

Because it was the best and only best thing to watch and beat's all over lesbian dramas out there, they don't even come close to the L word, and because i miss it LOAD'SSSSS :-(

Because was the best tv series ever and I miss it really bad! Because there are so many questions to be answered. Because i miss BetTina and... I;m a lesbian. I need to watch a part of "somethink like our live" on tv!!!!

The L word helps lots of people struggling to come out to feel less alone, it's a brilliant show that people could relate too

Not enough lesbian and trans women represented in television at the moment. This show helped define a generation of queer woman. I would love to see it have the chance to work through some of its issues (transphobia, lack of diversity in cast, etc.) to provide further representative visibility to queer women.
