Dear Viacom, TNT, TVT - or whatever you wish to be called, Neopets started out as a site for adults and older teens. However, ever since Neopets was purchased by Viacom it seems that the maturity level of Neopets has dropped. We aren't even aloud to talk about real life issues and debate about things such as politics and religion. I can understand the fact that there are young children on the boards and that some people are easily offended. However, there are a majority of people on Neopets who appreciate a good debate. I have been involved with debates on neoboards; we were all being civilized and no one was being harsh, rude, or degrading. This was still not acceptable and we were all warned, and the board was deleted. I believe that Neopets should host a specific "Debate" neoboard. Of course you could always post a warning with it saying that, since people have different views, there is a chance that people could get offended, etc. I believe that, as Neopians and real people we should be aloud to debate about such things. It's not truely harming anyone; and if anyone is offended, then they were already warned what may be in the boards. I'm hoping you can consider making this neoboard, and I really hope you do. I think it will help take care of a lot of pointless warnings and the trouble you go through to deal with some Neopians. ~ Thank you for your time, You're fellow Neopians If you sign this, please only sing it once.
