Get rid of the alcohol and form a better United States!

Alcohol gives the right of way to death. Whether in moderation or literally abused, with time you're practically killing yourself. My mom has been a recovering alcoholic for nearly 20+ years, and it's sadden my entire family to watch such a beautiful person live in a bottle. Man made drugs have no good intentions but to make a profit off of us as we sign our lives away. Kids grow up eager to try which leads to another generation full of pain and possibly death and it's vicious cycle that is NOT part of life but against it. How can we support live if those who do have the upper hand are trying to wipe life out completely? It's time for people to come together and wake up and see that we are the ones causing the harm to ourselves, we are the ones giving those in control more control. But we have the voice, we can walk way and still be happy. We need to stop glorifying alcohol!

I could write a book on how alcohol has ruined my life. How the cheapest beer ruined my family, and caused the suffering I am living as of now. The worst drugs are the one we are allowed to consume. The limits set aren't the ones followed and we can all turn out backs on this or do something about it. Telling kids to say no to drugs isn't going to stop drug use. Even illigalizing them wont completely stop the problem but it will help so much. So many tragedies will be prevented from occurring.

If alcohol is not completely outlawed I am hopeful that it might hopefully at least be to where picture ID must be shown put into a system to where every store knows when someone has purchased alcohol and sets a limit for alcoholics to buy alcohol only at a set limit during a set time period. I would like a petition to ban alcohol from being sold to alcoholics. It would be modeled after the ban of alcohol from being sold to minors. It would not affect non-alcoholics in any way. Everyone would have to show an ID before purchasing alcohol to prove they are not an alcoholic. People already have to show proof of age to buy alcohol anyway. All alcoholics would have alcoholic written on their state ID. This would apply retroactively to anyone who has had a DUI, public drunkenness or admitted to hospital for alcohol intoxication. Non-alcoholics would able to buy all the alcohol they wanted.

Every night my mom is drunk. Every night I have to worry about either me or my brother getting hurt, emotionally or physically. Life is so hard as a high school student with no father in the home. Trying to raise my brother on top of that is a whole other struggle. Without alcohol I could live in a happy environment.

My parents have a ton of alcoholic beverages in a liquor cabinet and one night when my fifteen year old sister had a friend sleep over, that friend snuck into the cabinet and stole one of the drinks and my sister was understandably scared, so she hid it in her room and we all thought she was drinking underaged, and she could’ve been in a lot more trouble. Also, tonight, May 2nd, 2021, my parents are at a friends house and my dad and his golf buddies have been drinking a lot this morning playing golf, and again drank a lot at dinner, and even now, they’re probably drinking even more there and they haven’t come home yet, I wouldn’t be surprised if he got alcohol poisoning or something and I’m really worried, plus, he has work tomorrow as of 9:43 pm Texas time.
