It would be an unnecessary shame to not allow the continuation of the series due to the movie being shelved. Fans have been waiting patiently for 20 years. Just let us have it, please. I understand the plan was to use the timing of the movie release for the new book and movie to increase the hype for each other, but the movie is clearly not going to happen.

I fell in love with Alosha when I was Ali’s age, I grew attached to The Shaktra far more than one should a book, the Yanti always left me full but empty, needing closer, waiting for my peace. We have a climax, but it was rushed, and the peace that the last page of a book should bring is absent. I, like many other readers, NEED Nemi to find that peace. Please, please continue this story of love. Please choose creativity and joy and discovery. Please let us experience paradox upon paradox so we may never be overcome by any dark Entity, beit external or from within our own minds. Please finish this story. I can understand avoiding the closer, if you never reach the last page you can still live in that world a little bit. But we need closure for growth, for progress, and for love. Please continue.

I loved this series ever since I read it in middle school. I've been waiting since then for Nemi, and I am graduating very soon. This shows how much I loved that series, and I hope Mr. Pike gets to finish it even if I have to wait awhile.
