I, Neil Sandefur, am a Douglass Hills City Council Candidate to fill the recent vacancy. The new council member will be chosen in an executive session on Thursday, November 5, 2015. I am an active member of our community. I enjoyed participating the men’s doubles tennis league this past summer. I enjoy running the streets of our city for exercise. As a father of three I am often engaging in outdoor activities with neighbors and spending time at our pool in the summertime. My children are active on the Douglass Hills swim and dive team and continue to learn so much as members of that team. I am an active member of one of the churches in our city, Middletown Christian Church (MCC).

Professionally, I have worked as a senior consultant for HR technology solutions and am currently the Professional Services Leader for IBM’s Smarter Workforce – Compensation solution. My career has included focus and development of leadership skills, consulting, contract negotiation, budget management, and process improvement.

I am passionate about the growth of our city. My wife and I moved to Douglass Hills in 2006 and look forward to being long standing members of our community. I want our city to be safe place to live with best in class programs and functions. I want our city to be a highly attractive place to raise a family and engage in community. I love our city and would love the opportunity to serve on the City Council and be a part of ensuring its’ bright future!
