To Concerned Citizens: On November 30th, 2009, Guelph City Council will be reviewing their 2010 budget. The Neighbourhood Support Coalition receives $150,000 annually, which is distributed between eleven neighbourhood groups across the City of Guelph. With the recent cut we received from the Ministry of Children and Youth Services and this possible cut from the City of Guelph, Neighbourhood Group’s ability to respond to the needs of residents will drastically be impacted. We, the undersigned residents of the City of Guelph, ask Guelph City Council to continue to provide FULL FUNDING to the Neighbourhood Support Coalition and its affiliated Neighbourhood Groups in the 2010 fiscal year. Please contact the Mayor and your city council members to let them know your concerns.
