We oppose the quarry proposal for Ditmore Ford Road and oppose road access to Gold City Road. We value the safety of our roads, the peace and quiet of the Franklin community, and want to keep our park, fields and kids out of harm's way from blasting.
im still waiting on a real response from the county folks but silence is pretty much what i expected from them at this point. i spent the morning talking to some neighbors about how the blasting might actually affect our wells and its clear we have a lot more research to do before our next meeting.

im honestly blown away by how many people are jumping on board with this now. it feels like the whole town is finally waking up to the danger this quarry poses to our streets and kids.

THINK ABOUT THE ROADS. they are falling apart as it is and now you want dump trucks running over them all day? crazy.

The dust and noise will be unbearable. We moved out here for peace not for constant explosions and heavy machinery.

This is a terrible idea for our traffic. Gold City Road cant handle all those big trucks. Bad news.

My kids play outside all day right down the road. I am not okay with blasting happening that close to our home.
