Stop the Railroad from blocking the intersection on Mill Road! NOW!

I have made calls to CSX and they listen may be better for couple days then goes right back to same routine. I am tired of having to turn around just because the last car didn't clear the road or go far enough that the arms would raise. We have lives that require us to be places in a timely manner, people need medical attention in a timely manner, emergency personnel of all kinds need to respond in a timely manner and none of this happens because CSX thinks they own Mill Road and can block the tracks for whatever length of time they desire. WE DEMAND YOU STOP NOW!!!

I work at DSM and there are times when the train just sits on the tracks. It has always been bad there but now it is happening more frequently. Cars turn around and fly back down the road to take an alternate route when the trains are there. I have seen them stop when there are only a couple or cars left to pass the road and it's blocked.

ive been almost late to work or stuck in traffic. that train stops . its weird. why doesnt the train move? why does it block traffic? picking up sex slaves? seriously what is going on ?

This is very frustrating. I have also called CSX a couple times.

I have lived in this area for 14 years and this problem of blocking the crossing has always been there but in the past years it has become a major problem. Its's time for the authorities to step in and put a stop to it. They pass laws to prevent this but fail to enforce them. I guess it's just business as usual.

I have waited 25 minutes then had to turn around and go back the other way that train definitely blocks more than 10 minutes

I live near St. Joe & Mill Road. I am discussted with this situation. Have lived hear 27 years and it has been a problem all this time. Now there are more people in this area and it is an even bigger problem.

Not only is this a problem on mill rd but also on west franklin street. How can this be allowed to happen?

I get caught by stopped trains there all the time and it's a LONG way around to go back to St Joe!

Please stop the trains from stopping on the tracks. It is ridiculous. It is dangerous. It is inconvenient. Thank you!

This also impacts the tracks in Allen Lane. It is poor planning for a train to come to a holt on an major thoroughfare and it needs to stop.

Something has to be done!

I don't like it when one train passes by and then the arm come back down before you get to cross the tracks.

The line of cars can push back up Mill, all the way to Kratzville. This creates dangerous conditions.
