this situation is ludicrous and only perpetuates MORE drug use! rehabilitation, education and actual repercussions are the ONLY solutions that should be considered.

I'm tired of seeing needles laying around, putting my child and everyone else's children in danger.

Don’t give out needles, keep them at injection site.

further to that. I dont think needles should be given out period. it's against the law to use so why give them a free smoking gun. you want to give out free needles, give to the diabetics, or the epi pens.

I realize that the drug addiction epidemic exists beyond Lethbridge, but other municipalities must be handling it much better, because we're not hearing about carelessly discarded needles by the bucketfulls elsewhere. I can't take my kids or day home children to city parks for fear they will be pricked. I should not have to explain why there are dirty needles in the park to 4 year olds.

I hope my child or anyone else’s child ever gets hurt by one of these misused needles

I am sad at what our city has become. This used to be a safer beautiful community. It seems that unless you are addicted to something there is no help available to you. Our children are all at risk of coming into contact with dirty needles, one child was even poked recently, THIS CAN NOT HAPPEN!!!!!! THIS SHOULD NOT HAPPEN!!! If the city really wants to do something to help they should turn that "safe injection site" into a treatment center and actually help people. No one is getting any better with so many drug users walking around and there is so much more crime now than before. So many thefts and vehicle break ins, how long before more and more home invasions start happening? Help the addicts lead better lives by providing treament not a place to get high. Hell even as I'm writing this I just had to stop a girl from trying to break into my yard. THIS HAS TO STOP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Needle exchange is needed. There are way too many used needles around Lethbridge.

Lethbridge needs a needle exchange program. Until we have an solution to our needle problem all of our safety is at risk.

We need to find a better way to control where Needles are being disposed of. Maybe start by initiating a exchange program. Bring your Used needles back and we will give you clean ones. This help to cut back used needles been left in parks and public areas where innocent bystander And children could end up hurt.

I support arches and sage injection site but the amount of needles being found is too much. Exchange program would be a better idea

This is ridiculous when u dont feel safe in your home town anymore. Say no to drugs. Drug addicts should be sent to a recovery program. This is not acceptable.

Since the opening of the “safe consumption” site people who use drugs have been given the opportunity to indulge in their vices in a clean safe environment while the rest of Lethbridge is subjected to needles all over our city, and drugged out people waking the streets. I have never seen so many people walking around in downtown Lethbridge high, and I have lived here all my life. This city has turned into a dirty embarrassment

Our city has deteriorated significantly in just a few short years. I fear for the safety of our citizens and the safety of the business commmunity and investment as a whole.
