Why is it that we as a society are willing to put children at risk so that it’s easier and safer for the laws of the land to be broken?

I have no words to Express what some parents are going threw in lethbridge Alberta. It's pretty sad that a 6 year old has to be known to drugs. More secuirty in the areas of school I say and catch those people that are doing needles.. and not giving a dam about others children/family.

I do not agree with tax dollars being allocated for the needle safe injection program. I also advocate that this program is in fact indangering my children due to the increased numbers of needles being littered in places where children play

This must be stopped immediately. This is an ever present danger. The city’s lack of response speaks a loud message that it doesn’t care about its citizens. These addicts are the ones breaking into our vehicles and stealing from us too.

I took my 2 yr. old granddaughter for a walk . We found 2-3 syringes and needles on the path right in front of my house. I was angry !

Our Mayor's response is typical for a politician that can't admit they were wrong . As typical again, the mayor responds by giving a few hundred thousand dollars for needle cleanup which is not his money and totally contradictory to the tax paying lethbrige residents. If our mayor had any sort of integrity, then he would resign NOW!

This 12 year old boy was my boyfriends little brother. This is unacceptable and was near 3 schools in the area. This is not right. He could’ve been seriously hurt and injected with some sort of virus/drug that could affect his life long term. Which isn’t the problem his first test has come out that he is healthy which is great but that could be a different outcome for someone else.

Signing I have children and they deserve to be protected just as much as the drug users.

It’s pretty bad when you need to give your children a speech before they go on field trips in your own city

No no Ryan. We have to bow down to the junkies and let them put us in harm and destroy our city. It's the bleeding heart way!
