It's really just a matter of time until someone gets killed on Orion. I'm not an alarmist. It's just the law of averages. We need speed bumps. At night especially, it's not uncommon for someone to do 50 mph+ down Orion from Vanowen to Victory and blow through both stop signs along (which are apparently optional in this neighborhood). I honestly can't remember the last time I saw a cop patrol the neighborhood.

Everything on this petition should be addressed. I live on Orion and it's unsafe to let my children ride their bikes due to the speeding. We need speed humps.

Along with all proposed improvements, we want to add speed humps on Blucher Ave too especially in between Haynes st and Lemay st because a lot of kids are walking in this street.

Marge Roten Please add the health and safety I have reported twice - the standing, algae and misquito filled standing water to the entrance of my front gate! Thanks Marge Roten

Although the street has no parked cars, the street sweepers are sometimes keeping their curb broom a foot away from the gutter, so that the gutter is not getting swept clean at all.

Everything in this petition should be acted on. These conditions amount to dangerous conditions of public property and the City is now on notice.

Thank you for your work, but these comments are all true. In addition, stop signs are needed on the corners of Aqueduct & Haynes and Aqueduct & Lemay. Also, the speed limit on Orion is too high at 30 mph in a residential neighborhood. Especially when it is used as a bypass from Vanowen to Victory. Thank you.

The speed bumps on Peach Ave., between Victory and Haynes, also need to be beefed up! They do very little to slow cars down, especially those using Haynes and Peach as a speedy cut through, to get to Victory or Sepulveda, and avoid the Sepulveda and Victory intersection lights.

We definitely need speed bumps on Orion. People speed on that road a lot! It’s very dangerous! Also the areas with sewage issues is really bad. Lots of mosquitoes have invaded!

Please think about restricted parking on Lemay between Sepulveda and Orion. It’s a problem now and will only get worse when the condos are finished.

There have been an increase in homeless encampments parked on the west side of the 405 frwy north of victory Blvd. This is unsafe for our kids, the community and residential properties. Please address this situation as it will become worse if we continually allow this encampment to grow.

Appreciate your attention to these matters. Our neighborhood is attracting younger families who ultimately will grow and help flourish the surrounding businesses, as long as we can maintain the safety and cleanliness of environment. Please help. Thanks.
