Umm hello big time fan of underground and basin all your ps2 games I know that it's not a crucial component to have a manual in a game however I enjoyed the feeling of dropping gears for additional decel and ripping a fantastic drift.

The ONLY reason I bought this game, was to drive TUNER cars with MANUAL transmissions.
The game is beautiful, but a beautiful JOKE at this point. This game pretends to be partly dedicated to drifting??? Yeah, need a manual transmission for that.. The drifting, and lack of car control in the slide are laughable.
The Engine off button (O) , boost button (X), and handbrake(square) could all easily be reassigned, several to the empty lower directional pad buttons. And why not make controls customizable to begin with. The poorly used L1 and R1 could also easily be reassigned as shift paddles.
I wish I could get my money back for this game. It looks incredible, but delivers none of the joys of driving performance cars that you would expect a game with Nakai, Magnus Walker, and Ken Block on the cover to deliver.
PATCH IT. Add manual shifting, and allow controller configuration. Otherwise, this game is nothing but a DISAPPOINTMENT.

Please the early upshifts are so annoying! We need manual transmission it would make the game much better

Please add manual option, manual with clutch option would be amazing also, but at least a standard manual trans please!!!!

Please add manual option to this game. In car camera would be awesome too, but manual trans is a must. The auto tans slips and shifts early half the time.

Please add manual trans option to this game. Or at least explain to the thousands of fans why you decided to not put it in this game. We use to have this option in the old NFS games, not sure why we cant in a new one???

This game is amazing and has a lot of great features. But to not have a manual transmission in a racing game????? WHY???? Please add this for us, it would make this game so much better.
