Ghost Games have done a great job with this iteration of Need for Speed, so far. What people are asking for is the ability to play the game their way. If they are working hard for this to be the "definitive version" of NFS, to overlook this mechanic is one of the largest oversights they could possibly have. It's been years since an outstanding entry in this series has released. Ghost, please do this right.
And then you can have our money.

I am in no way putting down the rest of the game. In fact the game overall looks amazing so far. But If manual transmission is added (and works well), this game will be one for the history books.

I have not played a NFS since Most Wanted, this one I was really hyped for until I found out it has no manual transmission!!!

I refunded Rivals within 20minutes of buying it through Origin after I realised it had no manual transmission.
As long as this has only auto, there is no way I'm wasting my money on it. EA says they're listening to the customers no this game, clearly they're not.
