I'm a car enthusiast and I have no idea how many times I've played through most wanted. this was the game to revive n4s and revive its legacy but if this game really wont be getting a manual option, then I am sad to say i won't be purchasing this game, and will be sticking with horizon 2.

What sort of car game has no manual transmission! You can't call it a 'car guy' game unless there is manual because us car people know that a real driver drives a manual. Automatic is for those lazy people that have know idea what you can achieve with a manual! Please EA, make manual a option otherwise this game will not be complete, and thousands will not purchase it simply because this option does not exist. I can assure you, I will be among those thousands, and you say this game is for car people huh? Well if you want it to appeal to us make manual available!

This game is physically unable to be called "Need for Speed", nor a "racing game" without a manual transmission. For all of us who prefer to actually drift, and to actually drive our vehicles (as opposed to just having our vehicles drive us), a manual transmission option is an absolute must!

With out manual, we can never cruise with your friends at low revs just chilling, we don't have full control of the car, we will be limited to the immersive experience that NFS can offer us.

For a game that's all about driving/drifting/tuning and the like, you need a manual transmission in your car. 99% of the guys that are wrapped up in this culture in real life drive manual transmissions, not automatics. Much more driving involvement and fun. Won't be buying the game if it hasn't got the option for manual, myself.
