Our kids have lost so much already and they are NOT a high risk group!!!! There is a ton of evidence that the kids need to go back to extra caricular school activities for their mental, emotional , and physical well being! We need to stop hurting our children for a virus that has over a 98% survival rate!

Why can the professionals play but not our kids? Kids need sports. They need the interaction. The training, the exercise, to lose, to win. They need motivation and inspiration. They need the one or two things that make them who they are. Let them play!

34 States have already had cross country season in the fall with no large outbreaks. The remaining 16 ought to this spring. Cross country is probably the safest of all sports being outdoors and non contact. In fact it will be healthier for these kids to play a sport than not to and be inside, sedentary, and depressed. I am proud of what our WA educactors and coaches have done setting up protocols, allow them to not waste what they've properly prepared to do safely. Thanks.

Science DOES NOT support severe lockdowns on adolescents due to COVID-19. Increased depression, teen suicides, abuse, malnutrition, poor academic performance, and decreased physical fitness are the consequences of politicians with the hubris to proclaim that they are superior to parents and pediatricians when it comes to making judgments about the liberties and freedoms that are appropriate for our youth and their families.

Our students need to play. I am the academic advisor at ar high school.and the lack of sports, and required eligibility to play is harming my struggling and high achieving students. Mental health, motivation, physical wellness, self esteem and scholarships are all being harmed.
