I strongly oppose the Rezoning of New Hope and Buffaloe Roads (Z-45-2020). Our property values will be significantly negatively impacted. Traffic accidents and congestion already overwhelm this intersection and continue to increase each year: It is the 3rd most dangerous intersection in Wake County. The 4-story apartment complex is incompatible with the 1 - 2 story homes built in this area.

I totally disagree with the rezoning of the property located at the corner of Buffalo and New Hope Roads. The development of apartments will greatly affect the traffic flow which is congested as is and negatively effect our property value. The planning strategy “IS NOT A GOOD FIT FOR OUR COMMUNITIES” therefore, I would hope The Planning Committee will rethink it’s plans and reconfigure the space in question.

I am against the proposed development on New Hope Rd and Buffaloe. There is a lot of congestion there and the addition of 4 story apartments will increase that congestion more. Please decline this request.
