I reject this proposal because it brings no real value to my community. It will decrease visibity for motorist, increase accidents, and increase traffic on an already very busy street. Our community deserves better then this eyesore of a plan.

Does NOT address walk ability, architectural design, aesthetic issues, or blind spots at the intersection. Setbacks and parking are a huge controversy. It would be nice if it had a theme like Lafayette Village in North Raleigh.; a place with walkable venues and shopping.

The proposed apartment complex would be an eyesore, devalue existing property and current traffic patterns are unable to handle the influx of an apartment community of the proposed size. This is not a well thought out plan for the vacant land at the corner of New Hope and Buffaloe Rd

I live in Top of the Pines Court, and oppose the Z-45-2020 rezoning proposal on many fronts. I can’t believe City Council is even considering putting a monstrosity of a development next to my neighborhood, considering we only have one exit / entrance to our community. We will be prisoners in our neighborhood, because we won’t be able to leave in the morning. Right now it’s difficult with the amount of traffic on Buffaloe Road. Adding an exit from an apartment complex with many hundreds of residents, literally a number of feet away from our exit, will destroy our property values, and greatly reduce our quality of life. There are better uses for the property in question. For the city in general, and for the existing residents in particular. Please do not allow a second rezoning of the property in question.

We are a quiet, simple community of private homes. Sticking a 4-story building among us will drastically change the nature of our surroundings. Please do NOT approve this zoning change.

Planning Commission denied this request BUT City Council insists on reviewing as our Small Area Plan says NO!
