THE AUTHORS OF ATROCITIES IN CONGO DRC MUST RESPONSE TO THEIR ACTS TO THE INTERNATIONAL CRIMINAL COURT
The deadliest conflict since World War II, in which 6 million people have died and 500,000 women have been raped, more than 30,000 child soldiers, more than 10,000 children working in the mining sector, rages far from Iraq and Afghanistan. It is in the Democratic Republic of Congo, where murderous militias are battling for control of valuable minerals such as tin, tantalum, tungsten and gold, which are essential to the worldwide production of consumer electronics. Congolese people, in other words, are dying in extraordinary numbers for our mobile phones, video games, digital cameras and laptop computers. We believe that now the time is come to stop this, by putting justice in frontline. The authors of atrocities must be brought to the international court of justice. Your signature will help us to reach the number required to open the file for the crime against Congolese people. Your signature will make the difference.
