I have addressed this several times to Governor Cooper’s office with no response. Afraid of the backlog that has been created will make it hard to social distance when the test reopens. My son has been waiting two months and was hoping to get his license to work this summer.

This is a plan that would work. There are no real downsides, and social distancing won't be broken.

It's a pretty good time to be on the road as a young driver, as traffic-levels seem to be lower than normal.

Please consider this option! My son needs to be able to drive himself to school in August and should have us his license last March.

This is creating lost opportunities for our teens. My son had plans of doing community outreach this summer and with parents at work we are unable to drive him. Please consider an alternative as it causing numerous hardships on families.

Taking away something thousands of teens have worked for is unexceptionable. Everyone remembers their first time driving. Why are you going to take this away when a solution is there.

We were redistributed. My daughter was grandfathered in her senior year but we have lost school transportation. She will be taking courses at Wake Tech in the fall. I am not able to transport her to 2 different school campuses, work, and school related activities. I have 3 children in 3 schools on 3 schedules. This will be a hardship on my family, as it will also affect my ability to work as a substitute teacher and earn income for my family. Please consider adopting Safe procedures that other states have to insure those ready and needing a license can do so. Thank you.

Please come up with a way to do road tests. This is not just about “want.” It is a need. My 16 year old has a job. This lack of testing creates a burden on many families!
