Final supporters
We the undersigned ask the Gastonia Planning Commission and the Gastonia City Council to not approve the proposed rezoning of parcel tax ID 119705 - located along Franklin Boulevard and Duharts Creek and north of the Gardner Park, Gardner Woods and Sedgefield neighborhoods - from O-M-CD to C-3-CD. We ask that these groups continue to find that this sensitive transitional area between heavy commercial and residential neighborhoods is not suitable for commercial development.

We moved here for the trees and the quiet. Please dont ruin this for all of us living nearby.
think about the families and the wildlife. not everything has to be a strip mall.
Franklin woods is the last bit of nature we have left in this part of town. LEAVE IT ALONE.
The traffic down that road is already a nightmare during rush hour. adding a giant store will make it impossible to get home.
So tired of everything being bulldozed for concrete. stop the rezoning.

Keep the big box stores on the main highway. We dont need more traffic in our neighborhoods.
