In 2008, the NBA replayed the closing minutes of a Heat v. Hawks game because of a mistake made by the staff at the scorer's table. In brief, a player was ruled fouled out when he should not have been; all scenarios were reset and the game was then finished correctly. ( http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=3192421 ). As per this precedent, in game 6 of the 2013 NBA finals, the referees mistakenly gave Lebron James a three point basket when his foot was on the line. With his foot on the line, the basket should have been ruled a two pointer (as seen in this photo https://fbcdn-sphotos-h-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/p480x480/1044124_10151723942562223_1864549370_n.jpg ) As the NBA has done in the past, all conditions of this game should be reset to that moment with the score corrected and finished again.
