i formed a group called used autos unfair taxation and had very low numbers respond to it. this is Canada,we take it where the sun doesn't shine. Time for making noise. WHEN YOU SELL THE CAR, THEY WON'T TELL YOU WHAT THE RED BOOK VALVE IS AND WON'T SHOW YOU THE BOOK AT THE MVI

It's utterly ridiculous paying taxs on what the government "says" your car is worth. It's the government useing extortion at its finest!

Should be no sales tax on used cars and trucks period..tax was paid when car was new.its tottally a rip-off they should give the money back. Its theft.

I to have been stolen from by the government. Bought a vehicle for 600 to be restored because its antique and no book value was forced to pay taxes on $1000 even though my receipt reflected different and was not drivable till after I spend a large sum of money and time to restore it.
