We, the class of 2018, petition for boys AND girls to wear navy caps and gowns at our graduation. To the great distaste of the students at Troup, girls have had to wear bright gold gowns at graduation. We aim to change this. Instead of the tacky, see through, unflattering, yellow gowns of the past, we want nothing more than the aesthetically pleasing, classic, navy gowns that once were. As the students that have to pay for this attire, we feel that our opinion should be taken into deep consideration. This petition stands to prove the outstanding opinion that the students feel towards what we wear at a monumental event like graduation. We hope that the graduation coordinators at Troup High School will consider and appreciate this showcase of our opinions
