Therefore, we, the undersigned, are enrolled members of the Navajo Nation; and we fully support the Navajo Nation, in accordance with the Natural Law, to establish a Green Jobs Fund to diversify the tribal economy and transition to long-term sustainable employment. We, further support the Navajo Nation create a Navajo Green Economy Commission & Fund to enable chapters, community members, community organizations, tribal colleges, and tribal businesses to build locally owned and managed green projects that create local job opportunities. In addition, we affirm the creation of the Navajo Green Economy Commission, which will be a multi-stakeholder governing board to oversee and distribute funds through an open and transparent granting process.
