Naturopaths are essential in the healthcare system and we should be expanding their scope of practice instead of limiting it.

NDs have the appropriate training, let them do their jobs. Access to labs and pharmaceuticals brings NDs more towards their core training and where they should be allowed to practice...the main stream arena. All professions evolve to bring on board science based testing and therapies. When they do this, old, less scientific practices go by the wayside in favour of better tests and treatments. Shouldn't NDs be allowed to do this as well? No one fusses when a family doctor or specialist uses the most current and up to date tests and treatments. Why shouldn't NDs be given the same opportunity to provide patients with modern techniques. Stop holding back Naturopathic Doctors. NDS have demonstrated the initiative to modernize what they offer the public. They have already modernized their training to reflect modern lab testing and current pharmaceuticals for well over a decade, their practices should be able to reflect that.

This isn't regulation, this is outright silencing a person's choice to alternative therapies. Traditional medicine is too afraid to admit the truth, so they try to sabotage Naturopathic practices, leaving us no choice but to follow Big Pharma-influenced 'medicine'.
