Naturopathic Doctors are trained to utilize a variety of laboratory tests to assess and treat their patients. There should not be a regulated list of lab tests that are allowed to be utilized as this causes harm to the patient and citizens of Ontario.

I fully support the naturopathic treatment and the lab tests conducted by Naturopathic doctors in Canada or USA. I have seen improvement in my child's behavoir who is autistic and the treatment/supplements were based on organic test conducted in a USA lab. Being a parent I feel this is my right to get the best treatment, testing and care for my child and if that is not available in Canada then it should be allowed from sources outside of Canada.

I can't stress enough how vital our naturopath has been in drastically improving my son's life. The testing we have done has been imperative to his treatment plan and we would not be where we are now if we did not have access to those tests. This isn't just a simple matter of feeling better.. our naturopath has made it possible for my son to not only go to a regular public school, but to also THRIVE there. Please don't limit their ability to treat other kids like my son!

we should have access to all types of treatments. This act restricts ND's and negatively impacts treatments plans. Diagnostic tests help with getting patients the proper care and helps to prolong the lives of Canadians.

Given that the most common criticism of naturopathic medicine is that it is not evidence based, it seems absurd to deny practitioners the ability to actually determine cause and effect of treatments, as well as tools needed for reasonable diagnostics.
