Testing is the only way to diagnose the root cause of illness. Traditional symptomatic teatment does not allow correction of the cause.

This is REAL research and treatment of medical issues, instead of standardized medical treatments of covering the symptoms and not fixing and targeting the root causes. Using laboratory tests further contributes to research and development in the treatment of numerous issues such as Autism. My younger brother is currently receiving biomedical treatment with a combination of IBA, Speech Therapy, etc and we have seen SO MUCH improvement in his development since the start of his biomedical treatment, natural medicines/supplementation. I will always fight for naturopathic doctors that have made such a big contribution, difference and change.

This is a step backwards in the development of accurate evidence based medicine. WHY would we want to limit a LEGAL PRACTITIONERS capacity to work accurately?!! It makes NO SENSE.

Tests used by Naturopathic Doctors are crucial for some conditions, like autism. It has been proved that autism needs Naturopatic treatment. 1 of 68 children has Autism.

Canadians should have the right to choose for different types of testing and treatments not provided by the mainstream medical system. Pharmaceutical companies should not be allowed to control the entire healthcare system and our freedom to choose to get at the root of health problems.

Ontario needs Naturopaths to have the tools and treatments they need to help their patients. Doctors do not provide the same amazing care that naturopaths do they should have every tool at their disposal for their patients who need them. Do not take away all the fantastic resources from the peoe who truly need them.
