How appropriate it would be today, Colorado's birthday, to request to begin a petition in behalf of Native Coloradans. We would like to appeal to the 10,000+ people moving here every month ~ we honestly don't mind that they are here ~ we just ask that they try to fit in and adapt to the very DENVER FAMILY VIBE they were attracted to, instead of trying to change it. After all didn't they come here because were such an amazing state? Because we are so accepting and nonjudgemental? Please stop the road rage. Please stop tailgating. Please stop speeding. Please stop honking for no reason. Please stop trying to run over our wildlife. Please stop trying to run over our bikers. Please stop trying to run over our people. Please use your signals when turning. Please stop blowing through RED LIGHTS! You are killing us and yourselves! And most of all, learn how to give the damn courtesy wave. If you don't know what that is, just ask anyone of us and we will kindly tell you. And when they are pedestrians themselves, please obey the traffic signs or they're going to get hurt or killed.

How appropriate on the day of celebration of our beautiful state of Colorado, that we begin this petition requesting our governor Hickenlooper to appeal to our new family members.
