It is essential that prostrate cancer is caught early. Without screening it could be too late for some.
Until shortly before diagnosis I wasn't even aware of the existence of PSA testing let alone the right to a PSA test. I have routine NHS scans for other possible conditions, viz bowel cancer and aortic aneurism. It is unacceptable that a scanning programme is not available for the scourge of PCa.
It is disgrace that the NHS hold the stance against screening for prostate cancer, putting the lives of many men at risk. Why is it that women get screened for many conditions yet men are left out in the cold. The campaign must be to change this attitude and save men's lives. Ron Williams
Too many men dying because of these outdated rules. Sort it out.
My dad died from this because it was found way too late. If they had checked him earlier he might still be here. Its madness that we dont have a proper program for this already.
I worry about myself aged 66
I agree to screening

We have lost 3 close friends to prostate cancer . Screening should be on a par with breast cancer.
