Lets get this going, we have a national Ice Hockey Team but have no rink. An ice rink caters for all ages and abilities, Not to mention the potential for tourism via international events, domestic teams training, and the overall health of the nation. The Irish in Canada invented Ice Hockey, let's get Ireland back to the ICE AGES for the right reasons.

The leisure facilities in this country are practically obselete and it is high time the powers that be generated an environment that is within keeping with the times. We need a fully equipped leisure complex complete with ice rink.

our competitors should have the same opportunities and facilities here in Ireland. Pop up ice rinks are not the answer, we grow our own ice atheletes and should be able to provide support through the necessary training facilities instead of losing them to foreign soil to achieve their dresms

It is long time needed in Ireland. We want to grow our own sportmen in winter sports, and there are many people who would love to learn to skate, to ski, to play hockey, to snowboard - all these and many other winter activities, which all other europian countries can offer, but Ireland still missing. And 1-2 months of the temporary skating ring can't provide much needed long term training for those, who wants to achive some results.
