Bullying and Cyberbullying are real-world problems that need to be addressed.

Many school-aged children are being victims of teasing, name-calling, violence or even isolation due to differences such as age, race, religion or sexual orientation.

In short, people are being made to feel uncomfortable for being unique.

It does not have to be this way. The only way we can fight bullying is to treat each and every single person with the tolerance and respect they deserve. This is where YOU come in:

The Nation of Tolerance supports an ideal that we can live in a bullying-free environment. With your signature, you pledge:

1) To assist someone who has been a victim of bullying

and

2)To maintain an environment at your school or workplace that promotes tolerance.

"Much like the countries on the globe, you too are a  recognized nation. Show the world you support an 'international alliance' that flourishes on respect for your fellow man."

It is honestly surreal to see this pick up speed because I remember hitting refresh on the page over and over when it was just me sitting here alone. People are actually talking about this in ways I never imagined and (honestly) it makes me feel like maybe things really can shift if we keep the pressure on. I need to go grab a coffee before I start replying to everyone but just know that this energy is absolutely wild.

Kids are brutal these days. My son had to switch schools just to get away from the teasing. Glad someone is actually trying to change the culture.
