Do you watch Christmas movies?
I"m a screenwriter asking you to weigh in. Sign if you'd watch a lovely Christmas family story with a 23-year-old female lead. Candace Cameron Bure's daughter, Natasha is now an adult actress who is attached to play the lead in my movie Christmas at Crystal Creek as the country music singer stuck in a snowy town at Christmas trying to get to NYC to an important concert. Set in Maine with a handsome town doctor, the movie revolves around the country singer so you know Natasha is going to get to sing! (Remember her on The Voice?) And, her character is going to fall in love with the young town doctor.
We're collecting votes to determine if Christmas movie watchers will enjoy a younger love story with Natasha as the lead to show that those who watch Christmas Romance Movies will indeed watch and enjoy Natasha in this role.

I'm past 60. If I only watched shows featuring "old" heroes and heroines, I'd watch the Golden Girls and not much more. Give us some credit for being prepared to watch younger heroines. It might be hard to believe, but we were ALL young once.
I would love to see a fresh face in a movie. I adore Hallmark Christmas movies and love my favs but give her and an opportunity to fall in love with new faces, themes and stories. Hallmark shoukd be inclusive of all ages, races and life situations.
Please choose Natasha Bure for the lead in this Hallmark movie. From a strictly marketing standpoint, the age of the lead in romance stories really doesn’t matter much if the story is compelling. I’d watch regardless of the lead’s age and this way, my daughter might be more inclined to watch along with me!
I think it's very important to feature younger women also as lead actresses in the Hallmark movies - it speaks to the younger generation and can increase viewers. My daughter is 24 and she would watch Hallmark more if there were younger actresses especially ones that sing.
As long as she has the voice and acting chops and a solid work ethic. Forget who her parents are. I could care less. As long as she is convincing. Never know til she is given a chance. We all got our chance somewhere. I remember what it was like at that age to be so in love it hurt.

I would absolutely watch this (or any!) movie with this talented young actress. She is beautiful and her age should not be a factor Judy Garland was only 16 when she starred in Wizard of Oz.
